FestiVin, a wine and culinary happening
The Caraquet FestiVin will, again this year, launch the summer tourist season in the Acadian Peninsula. Held under the theme "A festival of Taste" this 13th season of FestiVin, will take place from May 29th to June 5th, 2010. Eight days of intense activities during which wines from various regions of France, Canada, California, Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Italy and Spain will be showcased. FestiVin a "wine and gourmet food happening", a "rendez-vous" not to be missed.
Once again, FestiVin offers a wide variety of activities that will allow you to gain a better knowledge and appreciation of the savors and charms of wines and seafood. A unique opportunity to discover the charms of the Acadian Peninsula as well as the renowned hospitality of it's people.
A classy event at popular prices!
It is possible to participate in wine tasting activities for the general public for as little as $37.00 on Friday night where FestiVin will present a selection of over 150 products for you to discover. On Saturday for a total of $47.00 you can participate in the wine tasting activities as well as attend the "Downtown Blues Band" show.
During these "Grand tasting" you will also be able to visit the "Port Salon" and the "Wines Cellar" and be able to taste Grands crus ports and wines at reasonable prices.
